ESC "Powerfull volunteers" in Barcelos, Portugal is NOW CHECK-IN!

SOPRO - Solidarity and Promotion търси 1 участник за участие в дългосрочен доброволчески проект "Powerfull volunteers" по Европейския корпус за солидарност. "Powerfull volunteers" е проект за солидарност и социално включване, който има за цел да предизвика и укрепи местната общност. Проектът е насочен към маргинализирани млади хора, с по-малко възможности, с цел насърчаване на разнообразието, като се вземат предвид характеристиките на всеки партньор, културен и междурелигиозен диалог на общите ценности на свободата, толерантността, зачитането на правата на човека, развитието на критичните мислене и инициативност, основни общи ценности в нашето общество за младите хора, предотвратяване на радикализацията и насилието, подобряване на уменията, способностите и способностите на доброволците чрез обучителни дейности, лично брандиране и чрез учене чрез практика. Младите хора чрез неформално образование могат да развиват дейности в областта на околната среда, селското стопанство, културата, спорта, литературата, изкуствата, науката, мултимедията и / или социалните области, като използват развлекателни, творчески и педагогически дейности.

Място на провеждане: Барселос, Португалия

Период на провеждане: 28 седмици(7 месеца) в периода от 01/12/2020 до 31/06/2021

Профил на участника: на възраст между 18 и 30 год. Основният работен език на проекта е английски. Участникът трябва да владее езика на добро писмено и разговорно ниво. В проектът ще вземат участие 4 участника от различни държави, а именно: България, Италия, Великобритания и Алжир. Тази група ще работи в екип, помагайки си в задачите помежду си.

Работната програма на проекта има някои специфични цели и активности:

- Организиране на междукултурни дейности, спортни събития, работни срещи, изложби, лекции, творчески пространства,живопис, езиков клуб, др.;

- Дейности по обсъждане на темите на Европейския съюз;

- Стимулиране на междукултурния диалог, оценяването на различията и равнопоставеността;

- Изпълнение на зададените ежедневни задачи;

- Организирайте дейности за популяризиране на програмата Еразъм+, др.

Настаняване: Доброволецът ще бъде настанен в обща къща с другите доброволци в двойна стая, с общ хол, кухня, пералня и социални помещения.

Лимитът за транспортни разходи в двете посоки е 360 евро.

PARTICIPATE+ | PLAY TOGETHER, PLAY WELL!

The project ,,Play together, play well” lasted 8 days from the 26th of September to 3rd of October, located in the capital of Croatia – Zagreb. We were 3 countries in total with 51 lovely people. The topic itself was amazing.

The reason I took part in this project was to get the chance to interact with disabled people and learn the basics of some martial arts, which will help me to defend myself someday. Who knows?

So, talking about my personal experience, I can’t miss to mention how beneficial that project was for my growth as a person also to develop some new skills and gain knowledge. For a very first time I met so many interesting people in one place.

Being part of a project in which we could interact with disabled people proved me that we all are capable of doing amazing things, alone or together.

The first day we had some teambuilding games which helped to get to know each other better and learn how to cooperate in a team for a mutual aim.

Meanwhile we had three cultural nights where the participants from every country had the chance to share interesting facts about their homeland culture. We tried a lot of delicious food and learnt some interesting facts, combined with a lot of fun.

We had some workshops and games which helped us to understand what it’s like to have a disability. We all shared what it was for us to be on the position of a disabled person. It was good for us to have the chance to look through their eyes for a little.

Our mission wasn’t only to learn basics of these martial arts. The main aim of this project is to enhance social inclusion of young people with fewer opportunities, especially the young ones, by including them in the magic of training a sport. Eventually we did it, so easily without having any troubles.

Deadline to apply is 14th of October, results before 20.10. Participants must be ready to start work 2th of November 2020 and will finish 31.07.2021 (9 months in total).

You will be provided with:

• Monthly allowance=pocket money: 120 euro/month around 516 PLN

• Food money: 420 PLN. This money is enough to buy basic food articles to cook at home, not to go to restaurants.

• Local transportation ticket (for trams, buses and night buses)

• Place in a room shared with other volunteers or students (with Internet access, kitchen equipment, fresh towels, bedclothes and blanket)

• All the required medical examinations * Reimbursement of the travel costs from the city of origin to Wroclaw and back
