At the International Center for Development of Education and Training (ICDET), our educational work connects non-formal learning, practical training and international cooperation. School Education & Educator Development<\/h3>\n\n\n

Our school-education strand focuses on training for teachers and school leaders, professional development, STEM and STEAM education, project-based learning, digital transformation and artificial intelligence in education. It also includes innovative teaching methods, educational resources, support for school development and international exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Our youth and community-development strand brings together youth work, non-formal education, volunteering, youth participation and active citizenship. Our Internationalisation Strategy 2026-2030 sets out plans to strengthen the European and international dimension of adult education and to make mobility a sustained part of ICDET’s educational work. It identifies Erasmus+ as a tool for educational and organisational development, alongside long-term partnerships and knowledge exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

We plan to develop mobility for adult learners, with transparent selection, defined learning objectives, preparation, participant support and follow-up.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Trainer & staff development<\/h3>\n\n\n

Our priorities include structured training, international courses, job shadowing, teaching activities and exchanges of experience for trainers and staff.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Hosting & digital cooperation<\/h3>\n\n\n

Our strategy prioritises people facing economic, social, educational, geographical, digital or language barriers. It provides for additional preparation, individual support, mentoring and adapted educational activities where needed.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Learning outcomes & recognition<\/h3>\n\n\n

The strategy provides for documenting and recognising learning outcomes according to the activity. Possible tools include certificates, confirmations of participation, individual learning outcomes, portfolios, self-assessment, trainer assessment and Europass where applicable. The emphasis is on acquired competences, not attendance alone.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Quality & responsibility<\/h3>\n\n\n

ICDET’s organisational structure assigns responsibility for quality and strategic development to the Executive Director. The supporting Control, Quality and Ethics function covers internal control, transparency, ethical standards, participant protection, safeguarding, monitoring and evaluation.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
